بيانات . بيان: كارثة طبيعية تضاف إلى الكوارث السياسية والاقتصادية

ببالغ الحزن والأسى، ننعي شهداء الكارثة التي أصابت الشعبين السوري والتركي يوم الإثنين 6/02/2023، وأسفرت عن 1586 قتيلًا في سوريا و3648 في تركيا (في حصيلة أولية قابلة للزيادة)، إضافةً إلى عشرات آلاف الجرحى والمنكوبين وآلاف المباني المدمرة.

بينما تحققت استجابة فعالة في تركيا من قبل الدول والمؤسسات الإغاثية، يغرق الأهالي في المناطق السورية بعمليات بحث وإنقاذ تحت الأنقاض بطرائق شديدة البدائية، بسبب نقص كبير في المعدات والآليات والطواقم البشرية المدربة على إدارة الأزمات والكوارث، في ظروف جوية صعبة جدًا، إذ باتت آلاف العائلات المنكوبة بلا مأوى.

لقد أظهر السوريون على مختلف مشاربهم، رغم ظروفهم الاقتصادية الصعبة، تضامنًا إنسانيًا منقطع النظير يُثبت أن شعوب المنطقة تبحث عن التعاون والعيش المشترك. وقد أظهرت هذه الأزمة أيضًا -مثل وباء كورونا- عمق الحاجة إلى تدمير الدولة البرجوازية، القوية في القمع والبطش والهزيلة في التنمية والحماية والاستجابة للكوارث الصحية والطبيعية والسياسية.

لذا، في حزب تيار اليسار الثوري في سوريا، نؤكد ضرورة تدخل مؤسسات الأمم المتحدة ومنظمة الصحة العالمية والصليب الأحمر وجميع المنظمات الإغاثية للإسراع في إنقاذ العالقين تحت الأنقاض، وتوفير مأوى آمن لآلاف المشردين، ومساعدة شعبنا المنكوب في كل المناطق.

كل التضامن مع المنكوبين من الشعبين السوري والتركي، والرحمة لكل من قضى في هذه الكارثة الجلل، والأمان للمشردين، والشفاء العاجل للجرحى.

Colonial War for an Emerging Imperialist Power, Revolutionary Left Declares General Mobilization

Statement : A natural disaster added to the political and economical disasters.

With lots of sadness, we mourn the martyrs of the catastrophe that has hit the Syrian and Turkish peoples on Monday February 6th 2023, which has resulted in 1586 deaths in Syria and 3648 deaths in Turkey (this is just an initial outcome that can be increased). This is addition to tens of thousands of wounded and afflicted, and thousands of destroyed buildings.

While an effective rescue has been achieved in Turkey by countries and relief institutions, the Syrian people are using very primitive ways in the search and rescue operations, as a result to a big lack of equipments and staffs specialized in crisis and disaster management, in addition to very difficult weather conditions, as thousands of families have become homeless.

Despite their difficult economical conditions, Syrians have showed a considerable solidarity that proves that the peoples of the region are looking for cooperation and coexistence. This crisis has also shown – like the Corona epidemic – the serious need to destroy the bourgeois state, which is efficient in repression and oppression and weak in development, protection and response to health, natural and political disasters.

Therefore, in the Revolutionary Left movement in Syria, we affirm the need for the intervention of the United Nations institutions, the World Health Organization, the Red Cross, and all relief organizations to expedite the rescue operations of those trapped under the rubble, to provide safe homes for thousands of homeless people, and to help our afflicted people in all regions.

All the solidarity to the afflicted Syrian and Turkish peoples, and mercy for all those who died in this catastrophic disaster, safety for the homeless, and a fast recovery for the injured.
