تستعد العاصمة البريطانية لندن غداً لاستضافة مظاهرة حاشدة تضامناً مع الشعب الفلسطيني، وذلك في محاولة للضغط لوقف المجازر وفضح الإجرام الصهيوني. يتطلع المنظمون إلى تجمع كبير يبرز الدعم الواسع للقضية الفلسطينية وحقوق الشعب الفلسطيني ونضاله.
تتميز المظاهرات في أوروبا بتقليد سياسي رائع يتمثل في تقسيم المظاهرات الكبرى إلى “بلوكات” أو أقسام سياسية. كل قسم يرفع أعلامه ويبرز تميزه، مع التأكيد على “السير معاً” مع الآخرين. هذه الرمزية السياسية للبلوكات تعكس قوة التنوع والتوحد.
من بين الأقسام المختلفة، يبرز بلوك “أعضاء النقابات” الذين يرفعون رايات نقاباتهم وفروع نقاباتهم المختلفة. يبرزون بذلك تأييد الطبقة العاملة البريطانية بصفتها كيان طبقي منظم للقضية الفلسطينية. والبلوك الثاني هو البلوك اليهودي، الذي يبرز قوة وشجاعة اليهود الذين يقفون مع الحق والإنسانية ضد الأفكار والممارسات الصهيونية.
وفي هذا السياق، يرفع البلوك اليهودي شعار “شقة البطيخ”، الذي يجسد ألوان العلم الفلسطيني ويعكس الارتباط العميق بالأرض الفلسطينية. يعكس هذا الشعار الرمزي القوة والتحرر والمقاومة. ملهمين في قوتهم وفي وقوفهم مع الحق في مواجهة أهليهم وأصدقائهم والتاريخ الذي تربوا عليه والمميزات التي تمنحها لهم الصهيونية، وملهمين في وجودهم في المظاهرة في حد ذاته إذ يرفعون شعاراتهم ضد وجود الدولة الإسرائيلية ذاتها – عندما يرفعون شعار من النهر إلى البحر ستتحرر فلسطين.
ولأن ظهورهم السياسي بهذا الشكل وبهذا الحماس وبهذه المبدئية هو أهم تغير حدث في حركة التضامن العالمي مع الشعب الفلسطين منذ النكبة! ويجب في رأيي أن نقول لهم “نحن نرى ما تفعلون” ونحييكم عليه. تضامن الكثيرين من اليهود في بريطانيا بالذات وفي أمريكا ساعد على تغيير “مفردات” الخطاب، وتحويل القضية من قضية فلسطين إلى مشكلة تأسيس دولة إسرائيل وأصبح في الكثير من الأوساط السؤال هو: كيف الحل في مشكلة وجود هذا الكيان الاستعماري الاستيطاني العنصري؟
وأخيراً وليس آخراً، بسبب الشعار الأساسي الذي حددوه لأنفسهم في المظاهرة غداً وسيرفعونه في المسيرة، وفي رأيي يجب علينا أن نسمع الرسالة “البصرية” جيداً: بلوك اليهود سيرفعون غداً شعار “شقة البطيخ” فوق رؤوسهم وفي مقدمة صفوفهم!
اليهود المشاركون في المسيرة من أجل فلسطين في لندن غداً سيرفعون شعاراً لهم ألوان العلم الفلسطيني وتجسده في طرح الأرض، ثمر الأرض، طَعم الأرض الفلسطينية – البطيخ.
البطيخ الراية، الأخضر والأحمر والأسود والأبيض.
هذا وقد نظمت اليوم 7/12/2023 نقابات عمالية في بريطانيا وقفات احتجاجية تنديدا بالدعم الذي تقدمه شركات أسلحة للإحتلال الإسرائيلي، والذي تستخدمه في الحرب التي تشنها على قطاع غزة منذ أكثر من شهرين.
فقد شهد محيط مجمع “إل3 هاريس” (L3 HARRIS) لصناعة الذخيرة دقيقة التوجيه بمدينة برايتون جنوب بريطانيا وقفة احتجاجية دعت إليها نقابات عمالية، لإغلاق مداخل 4 شركات كبرى لتصنيع الأسلحة التي تسهم في تصديرها لإسرائيل.
وتأتي الوقفة تلبية لدعوات نقابات عمالية فلسطينية، وجهتها لعمال العالم بالتضامن من أجل وقف تصدير السلاح لإسرائيل وإجبارها على وقف ما يصفونها بجرائم الإبادة الجماعية والتطهير العرقي ضد الفلسطينيين.
كما تهدف هذه التحركات العمالية إلى الضغط على الحكومة البريطانية للانخراط في مساع للوقف الفوري لإطلاق النار في قطاع غزة.
كانت هذه الوقفة هي واحدة من وقفتين أمام المصنع البريطاني والهادفة إلى سد أبوابه لمنع دخول أي شاحنات تحمل مكونات تستخدم في صناعة الذخائر والأسلحة التي تورد لإسرائيل.
يذكر أن المشاركين في الوقفة هم أعضاء في نقابات مختلفة منهم أطباء ومدرسون وعاملون في القطاع الصحي وقطاعات النقل وغيرها، ويطالبون بقطع إمدادات السلاح لإسرائيل والضغط على الحكومة البريطانية من أجل المطالبة بوقف فوري لإطلاق النار.
ويقول المتظاهرون إن الحكومة البريطانية لا يجب أن تكون متواطئة في عمليات القتل الجماعي والتطهير العرقي التي تمارسها قوات الاحتلال في غزة.
و “إل3 هاريس” هو واحد من 4 مصانع رئيسية في بريطانيا في 4 مدن مختلفة يتم التظاهر أمامها، وهي حركة تتم بالتنسيق مع نقابات في دول أخرى منها الدانمارك وهولندا وفرنسا.
وتأتي وقفة اليوم كجزء من عملية التصعيد للاحتجاجات في بريطانيا تنديدا بالموقف الحكومي وأيضا موقف المعارضة الرافض لوقف إطلاق النار في قطاع غزة بالوقت الحالي.
في النهاية، يجب أن نتذكر أن القوة تكمن في التنوع والتوحد. فيجب أن نرفع أعلامنا، ونظهر عددنا وقوتنا، وننضم للآخرين في الهدف العام والشعارات الأساسية. فالنضال المشترك هو الطريق الوحيد لتحقيق العدالة والحرية.

Labour and Jewish solidarity with the Palestinian people in Britain: strength in diversity and unity
The British capital London is preparing tomorrow to host a mass demonstration in solidarity with the Palestinian people, in an attempt to pressure to stop the massacres and expose Zionist criminality. The organizers are looking forward to a large gathering that will highlight the broad support for the Palestinian cause, the rights of the Palestinian people and their struggle.
Demonstrations in Europe have a wonderful political tradition of dividing large demonstrations into” blocks ” or political sections. Each section raises its flags and highlights its uniqueness, emphasizing “walking together” with others. This political symbolism of the blocks reflects the power of diversity and unity.
Among the various sections, the block of “union members” stands out, flying the banners of their unions and branches of various unions. By doing so, they highlight the support of the British working class as an organized class entity for the Palestinian cause. The second block is the Jewish block, which highlights the strength and courage of Jews who stand with truth and humanity against Zionist Ideas and practices.
In this context, the Jewish bloc raises the slogan “watermelon apartment”, which embodies the colors of the Palestinian flag and reflects the deep connection with the Palestinian land. This symbolic emblem reflects strength, liberation and resistance. Inspired by their strength and standing up for the right to confront their parents and friends, the history they were brought up on and the privileges that Zionism gives them, and inspired by their presence at the demonstration itself, raising their slogans against the existence of the Israeli state itself – when they raise a slogan from the river to the sea, Palestine will be liberated. And because their political appearance in such a way, with such enthusiasm and with such principle is the most important change that has occurred in the World Solidarity movement with the Palestinian people since the Nakba! In my opinion, we should tell them “we see what you are doing” and greet you for it. The solidarity of many Jews in Britain in particular and in America helped to change the” vocabulary ” of the discourse, and to shift the issue from the question of Palestine to the problem of the establishment of the state of Israel, and in many circles the question became: how to solve the problem of the existence of this racist settler colonial entity?”
And last but not least, because of the basic slogan that they set for themselves at the demonstration tomorrow and will raise it at the rally, and in my opinion we should hear the “visual” message well: the block of Jews tomorrow will raise the slogan “watermelon apartment” above their heads and at the front of their ranks!
The Jews participating in the March For Palestine in London tomorrow will raise a banner with the colors of the Palestinian flag and embody it in the offering of the land, the fruit of the land, the taste of the Palestinian land – watermelon.

On 7/12/2023, trade unions in Britain organized protest stops to condemn the support provided by arms companies to the Israeli occupation, which they have been using in the war waged on the Gaza Strip for more than two months.
The vicinity of the “L3 Harris” (L3 HARRIS) precision-guided ammunition manufacturing complex in Brighton, southern Britain, witnessed a protest called by trade unions to close the entrances of 4 major weapons manufacturing companies that contribute to their export to Israel.
The pause comes in response to calls from Palestinian trade unions, addressed to the workers of the world in solidarity to stop the export of weapons to Israel and force it to stop what they describe as crimes of genocide and ethnic cleansing against Palestinians.
These labor movements are also aimed at pressuring the British government to engage in efforts for an immediate ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.
This was one of two stops in front of the British factory aimed at blocking its doors to prevent the entry of any trucks carrying components used in the manufacture of ammunition and weapons supplied to Israel.
It is noteworthy that the participants in the vigil are members of various unions, including doctors, teachers, workers in the health sector, transport sectors and others, demanding to cut off arms supplies to Israel and pressure the British government to demand an immediate ceasefire.
The demonstrators say that the British government should not be complicit in the mass killings and ethnic cleansing practiced by the occupying forces in Gaza.
The “L3 Harris” is one of 4 major factories in Britain in 4 different cities where demonstrations are being held, a movement coordinated with unions in other countries, including Denmark, the Netherlands and France.
Today’s pause comes as part of the escalation of protests in Britain in condemnation of the government’s position as well as the opposition’s position rejecting the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip at the moment.
In the end, we must remember that strength lies in diversity and unity. We must raise our flags, show our number and strength, join others in the general goal and basic slogans. Joint struggle is the only way to achieve justice and freedom.
