في الوقت الذي تعيش فيه سوريا أوضاعاً معقدة نتيجة الفراغ السياسي والعسكري الذي خلفه فرار الدكتاتور وزمرته، يستغل جيش الاحتلال الصهيوني هذه المرحلة الحساسة ليشن عدواناً سافراً على مقدرات الشعب السوري، كما تقدم محتلاً أراضٍ جديدة بالقرب من الجولان السوري، في انتهاك صارخ لكل القوانين الدولية والأعراف الإنسانية.
إن هذا العدوان الجبان الذي يستهدف البنية التحتية السورية ويُمعن في استنزاف مقدرات البلاد، يكشف الوجه الحقيقي للصهيونية التي لا تتوانى عن استغلال ضعف الشعوب وأزماتها لتحقيق أطماعها التوسعية. إننا في هذا البيان ندين بأشد العبارات هذا الهجوم الغاشم، الذي يهدف إلى تقويض إرادة الشعب السوري وزيادة معاناته في ظل الظروف الراهنة.
إن انشغال جماهير الشعب السوري بطي صفحة نظام الطغمة و بناء سوريا الديمقراطية التعددية الحرة لا يعني بأي شكل من الأشكال رضاه عن العدوان الصهيوني المستمر، فإن جماهير شعبنا تعمل وتنادي بوقف العدوان واستعادة الأراضي المحتلة.
نحذر القوى المعادية، وفي مقدمتها العدو الصهيوني، من مغبة الاستمرار في استهداف الشعب السوري واستغلال أزماته، فإن الشعب السوري، رغم جراحه، لن يقف مكتوف الأيدي أمام هذه الانتهاكات، وغضبه سيكون الرد الحاسم على كل معتدٍ. إن محاولات استغلال الفراغ الحالي في سوريا لن تحقق سوى المزيد من التعقيد للأوضاع، وسيبقى الشعب السوري صامداً وموحداً في وجه كل محاولات النيل من سيادته وحقوقه.
إن اعتداءات الكيان الصهيوني الاستيطاني لن تثني الشعب السوري عن حقه المشروع في الدفاع عن أرضه واستعادة قراره الحر بعيداً عن كل أشكال الهيمنة والعدوان. ولن تمر محاولات الكيان الجبانة دون رد، فصبر الشعب السوري ليس ضعفاً، بل حكمة تحمل في طياتها غضباً قادراً على قلب الموازين.
ندين بشدة الصمت المخزي الذي يتجلى في تردد نسبة من القوى السياسية والعسكرية في سوريا عن إدانة واستنكار هذا العدوان الغاشم. وندعو جميع القوى السياسية الوطنية والديمقراطية واليسارية، وسائر جماهير شعبنا، إلى عدم التردد في إعلان موقفهم من هذا العدوان، لا كمجرد صك براءة، وإنما كركيزة أساسية لبناء الدولة الوطنية والنظام الديمقراطي التعددي المنشود.
عاشت سوريا حرة أبية، والمجد للشعب السوري الصامد.

Statement
Political statement on the Zionist aggression against the resources of the Syrian people
At a time when Syria is living in a complex situation as a result of the political and military vacuum left by the flight of the dictator and his clique, the Zionist occupation army is taking advantage of this sensitive stage to launch a blatant aggression against the resources of the Syrian people, and has advanced to occupy new territories near the Syrian Golan, in a flagrant violation of all international laws and humanitarian norms.
This cowardly aggression, which targets the Syrian infrastructure and further depletes the country’s resources, reveals the true face of Zionism, which does not hesitate to exploit the weakness of peoples and their crises to realize its expansionist ambitions. In this statement, we condemn in the strongest terms this brutal attack, which aims to undermine the will of the Syrian people and increase their suffering under the current circumstances.
The preoccupation of the masses of the Syrian people with turning the page on the tyrannical regime and building a democratic, pluralistic and free Syria does not in any way imply their satisfaction with the ongoing Zionist aggression, as the masses of our people are working and calling for an end to the aggression and the restoration of the occupied territories.
We warn the hostile powers, primarily the Zionist enemy, against the consequences of continuing to target the Syrian people and exploit their crises. The Syrian people, despite their wounds, will not stand idly by in the face of these violations, and their anger will be the decisive response to every aggressor. Attempts to exploit the current vacuum in Syria will only further complicate the situation, and the Syrian people will remain steadfast and united in the face of all attempts to undermine their sovereignty and rights.
The Zionist settler entity’s attacks will not deter the Syrian people from their legitimate right to defend their land and regain their free decision away from all forms of hegemony and aggression. The patience of the Syrian people is not a weakness, but a wisdom that carries within it an anger capable of overturning the scales.
We strongly condemn the shameful silence that is reflected in the reluctance of a proportion of the political and military forces in Syria to condemn and denounce this brutal aggression. We call on all national, democratic and leftist political forces, as well as the masses of our people, not to hesitate to declare their position on this aggression, not as a mere exculpatory instrument, but as a basic pillar for building the national state and the desired pluralistic democratic and pluralistic system.
Long live a free and proud Syria, and glory to the steadfast Syrian people.
