Statement: from Damascus here is the southern suburb

The Zionist occupation state launched an attack, through an air strike, targeting a residential building in the Harat hreik area in the southern suburb of the Lebanese capital Beirut.

The Zionist raid resulted in two civilian martyrs and a number of wounded, including 7 children, in an initial toll, and relief operations are still continuing until the present moment .

We, in the Revolutionary Left movement in Syria, strongly condemn the aggression and the new Zionist crime, as this terrorist act targeting unarmed civilians is an extension of a long series of violations and crimes committed by the settler occupation state against the Palestinian people and the peoples of the region.

This blatant and continuous Zionist aggression against civilians, and the genocidal massacres in Gaza, once again confirms the aggressive nature of the Zionist terrorist entity and shows its existential threat to the peoples of the region and their future, which calls for concerted efforts and the concentration of the ranks of the masses of our peoples and their free political forces to confront it. 

As we declare our firm solidarity with the forces of resistance to the Zionist enemy, we emphasize the need to mobilize the popular masses in the face of the challenges facing our region, and the need to join forces of liberation and freedom in the face of Israeli aggression, and support the Palestinian and Lebanese resistance .the liberation of our peoples is linked to the liberation of Palestine and requires the unity of the struggle of the peoples of the region against the Zionist enemy and against its supporters of imperialism and the regimes of subordination and tyranny.
