The importance of building an international solidarity network with the democratic and social struggle of the people and with democratic self-administration ✪ الخط الأمامي

This is taking place and will be at the expense of the peoples of the world in the midst of the global conflict between imperialist countries, which has reached the point of wars in Ukraine, and before the features of its results have even been clarified, especially as it is accompanied by a noticeable rise of the populist and fascist right in the heart of the capitalist world itself, that is, in Europe.While this is happening, the so-called world order remains silent and oblivious to the struggles and suffering of peoples in the rest of the world.

There is a turning point in the imperialist struggle and its political manifestations that require the active presence of the militant left. Although we must acknowledge the weakness of the global struggle left in front of the great tasks before it, there are, on the other hand, clear indications of its global revival as well, and this is accompanied by mass outbursts and labor and popular protests in many countries, including the recent popular uprising in Iran.

In our country, Syria, this small country and the tormented people who are experiencing a terrible disaster are being attacked by international and regional predators. Despite that and the subsequent results of the defeat of the popular revolution, the Syrian Popular and Democratic Movement has not completely died, as it controls and administers the democratic self-administration areas in the north and east of Syria, in a model of dual political and geographical power. This area, which is run by democratic and progressive forces, presents, despite the attacks it is exposed to, the state of war and the siege, a progressive and unique political and social experience. It also forms the basis of our political and social struggle for a new, unified, democratic, and decentralized Syria with equality and social justice.

The mere existence of this democratic administration is an important gain for the democratic struggle, with our full awareness of the obstacles and negatives it faces, but it remains, in the balance of the forces of the political conflict in our country, at this stage, the most important strength for the Syrian masses and their democratic political forces.

In this very important national, regional, and international liberation struggle, our struggle requires clear international solidarity with us, from all international democratic movements, especially the socialist forces. In our national, democratic, and social liberation struggles, we need to build a network of solidarity and support with our people and with democratic self-administration, and the international left has the responsibility to bear the burden of carrying out this task. Also, this international socialist left is invited to visit the concerned region and to strengthen the bonds of comradely relations, and to present its great experiences and criticisms to it as well.

In this case, democratic self-administration, despite all the obstacles it suffers from, is one of the few spots in our world today, especially in our region where reaction is prevalent. and more direct.

This means that, in addition to organizing visits to the areas of the Democratic Autonomous Administration and joint activities and relations with the international socialist forces, the latter must find a place in which to advance.

Let’s work to build solidarity committees with the democratic and social struggle of the Syrian masses and with democratic self-administration in North and East Syria.
